Methodist Daily Prayer

I'm unable to record in the mornings this week, so there is no liturgy of morning prayer. But I have recorded the Bible readings in advance and will be using them in my own prayers.

Readings today are Psalm 119:81-95 and 1 Peter 5:1-14

No Morning Prayer as such today, but I've recorded the Bible readings in advance and will be using them as part of my own prayers this week

Today's readings are Psalm 119:65-80 and 1 Peter 4:12-19

No Morning Prayer as such, as I'm not able to record in the mornings this week. But I've recorded the Bible readings in advance and will be using them as part of my own prayers.

Readings today are Psalm 45 and Micah 5:1-5

Bible readings are Psalm 119:49-64 and 1 Peter 4:1-11

Bible readings are Psalm 119:17-32 and 1 Peter 3:13-22

Bible readings are Psalm 119:1-16 and I Peter 3:1-12

The note on this passage in today's passage says: "Sometimes 'the Bible says ...' is not quite as straightforward as some might suggest. A certain amount of critical awareness may be needed if we are to read it responsibly."

That gets an 'Amen' from me!
