In the wake of increasing rhetoric targeting the very people that keep us safe, the problem is the media that purposefully works to shape a narrative around issues in America in such a way to divide us and increase their own power along the lines of their ideology. This is a cult, and it will grow unless we do something. It is already large, do not let it grow. Focus on local communities because it is where we have the most power. It isn't sexy like the presidency of Congress, but it is where it matters the most. If everyone did this, this problem would be nearly handled overnight. Get involved in your local community.

The call for defunding the police in the wake of a death that has taken over the country in less than a week is hardly organic. The organization claims that it is to solve for racial injustice, but they will not stop. Those who give up their freedoms in favor of safety deserve neither safety nor freedom.
