The goal of this sermon is to know that we all have expectations of Jesus. Our expectations of Jesus are usually off because we come with our needs/desires but don't read what the Bible says about Jesus. Jesus is the promised Messiah and He fulfilled God's word about who the Messiah would be. We need to match our expectations to who the Bible reveals Jesus to be, not who we want Jesus to be.

We hear the term worship a lot but what does it mean to worship Jesus? Why should we do it?

Have you ever wondered what it meant to witness God’s glory for yourself? What does that entail - but moreover, how do we even get to that point? Jesus explains to us very clearly in John 11 how to witness the glory of God.

This passage contains the pinnacle of the Gospel of John. The entire book builds up to verses 25 & 26 of Chapter 11 and the rest of the book flows out of these verses. Jesus makes it abundantly clear who he is and invites all of humanity into an eternal relationship with himself.

We all experience hardship from time to time. The question is, how do we faithfully respond?
