We needed this one. The Mets exorcised last weekend's demons by thoroughly destroying the Nationals to end their regular season on a high note. Francisco Álvarez hit his 1st career HR, Jeff McNeil won the batting title, Lindor had some knocks, Nimmo wrapped up a sensational season, everyone got in on the action against Washington. James noticed something about Taijuan Walker that could be important come playoff time AND tied up the Esti-Met at the finish line. Jon lets everyone know how we're going to settle the tie plus a little behind the scene look at his day as Ball Boy. We close with sharing our favorite memories from the season, what a whirlwind. The title makes this episode way more put together than it actually was. Marc is coming off his record-breaking three MLB games in 24 hours feat that will be on YouTube this week. James joined him for the last leg and grinded all day Sunday. So, brains are broken. Despite rampant stupidity, we break down the entire, strange series out in Oakland. Three blowouts, Pete broke the Mets single season RBI record, Francisco Lindor reached 100 RBI for the first time in his career, and Mark Vientos hit his first career HR! On the pitching side, James has a big breakdown of Chris Bassitt and why he's getting fewer strikeouts and then the boys get deep on Jacob deGrom and may have uncovered the craziest stat ever. Interesting one, delirious before some real seriousness.

Good series in Milwaukee. Max Scherzer returned on Monday night and helped the Mets clinch their first playoff berth in six years with six perfect innings. That was followed by a very subdued, very sophisticated, very warranted celebration. Then Tuesday Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso showed off their power with home runs to send the Mets to victory. Wednesday was less fun, but the Mets won another series and continue to steam ahead in their pursuit of the National League East crown. Marc also has come all the way back to tie the Esti-Met. You guys also get a glimpse into the boys day at MLB Network which is going to provide some GREAT bonus content on here. Lastly Marc, James, and Jon go around naming all the crazy Mets players that we've seen since the last playoff berth in 2016. There are some names.
