Rather than choosing perfect individuals from prestigious backgrounds, God's redemptive plan incorporated prostitutes, liars, adulterers, murderers, and outsiders. The message emphasizes that Christmas itself is messy, just as our lives are messy, but God's grace is sufficient to redeem any situation.
