This final message in the Lord's Prayer series examines the closing doxology of the prayer: "For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen." Together we explore what it means to give God the praise, authority, and recognition He deserves, and why a genuine understanding of who God is should produce an outflow of worship within us.

In this week's message, we looked at the final petition of the Lord's Prayer -- "deliver us from evil" -- and what it truly means to depend on God for rescue. From the tactics of the enemy to the battle within our own hearts, we are not strong enough to face it alone. And we were never meant to be.

Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3, God does not always remove us from the fire. Sometimes He steps into it with us. And when we come out on the other side, we do not even smell like smoke. His past faithfulness guarantees His future intervention.

If you are battling temptation, struggling with sin, or in the middle of a season that feels too heavy to carry, there is freedom available to you today. Jesus is the ultimate Deliverer, and He is still setting people free.

What does it really mean to pray 'lead us not into temptation'? Most of us focus on the temptation part, but there is something far deeper happening in those words. This message unpacks the radical act of surrender and trust embedded in that simple phrase. When we pray 'lead us not,' we are admitting something that does not come naturally to us: we are not capable of leading ourselves. If you have ever found yourself asking God for enough information so that you would not have to trust him, this message will speak directly to your heart.
