Keeda Haynes (D) is running in Tennessee's 5th Congressional District in hopes to become the very first Black Woman elected to Congress in the state's history. A victim of a crime Keeda is adamant she was wrongly prosecuted for, she spent nearly four years in prison before being released, and using that energy to defeat the very systemic issues that once gridlocked her. She's running to oust Jim Cooper (D). Cooper has been in office for 15+ years. It's time for change.
