Michael Blackburn is the Executive Creative Director of AV at Concept Arts where he recently oversaw the creation of Trailers and TV spots for the last two Spider-Man movies. His love for all things editorial has led him on a career filled with twists. He worked in the Netherlands cutting international trailers, he cut a feature film in Moscow, and followed his heart to San Francisco where he accidentally worked for the Mafia. As an Editor he cut for Ant Farm, Ignition Creative, CMP and directly for FOX's Tony Sella. He has experience with campaigns on every genre of film imaginable, from Minions and Madagascar to Mother and The Grudge, from Pineapple Express and Talladega Nights to Kill Bill and Django Unchained. The road is long and winding and he's picked up a few scars along the way (e.g. John Carter and Fantastic Four) but he wouldn't change a thing (he met his wife Esther Aronson in this business!) - He is always looking forward to the adventure of the next campaign...
