Actor and comedian Michael Fenton-Stevens first came to public attention on the Spitting Image 1986 number 1 hit "The Chicken Song” before a cameo appearance in Only Fools and Horses in 1989. A string of successful cameos followed him into the nineties where he landed a role opposite the late Gary Olsen in the 1996 drama Pilgrim’s Rest. Yet possibly he’s best known for his role in the cult eighties sketch show Radio Active alongside Angus Deayton and the late Geoffrey Perkins. I caught up with the star of stage and screen to talk satire, sketches and the secret to being a successful supporting actor. Ladies and gentlemen Mr Michael Fenton-Stevens.
