New Zealand Kiwis head coach Michael Maguire has resigned with the side until the 2025 Rugby League World Cup.
Following his success at the 2021 World Cup, Kiwi officials extended his stay.
At the moment, Maguire is happy with his New Zealand coaching role and being the assistant coach at the Canberra Raiders, but is not ruling out returning to the NRL as head coach.
“I really enjoy building teams, at some stage, when the time is right, it'll sort itself out” Maguire said.
The former Wests Tigers coach also weighed in on the sides poor start to 2023.
“I feel for the players and what they're going through at the moment” Maguire said.
"But I'm sure they'll get their way out of it".
