Maybe the most underrated warrior and Captain of his era is Michael Peca. The two-time  Selke Award winner also has two Stanley Cup final appearances on his resume. He also won an Olympic gold medal in 2002 representing his native Canada. This guy has one of the most underrated stories you’ll ever hear. Known for absolutely destroying guys with open-ice hits, Peca would back it up if he needed to. He also held out an entire season due to a contract dispute with the Buffalo Sabres.
