Michigan's AutoTalk Episode 47: "A debrief on the 2022 Chicago Auto Show and Ford splits in two."

In this episode, producer Phil Tower welcomes back CBS Newsradio automotive reporter Jeff Gilbert for a debrief of the highlights of the 2022 Chicago Auto Show including Chevrolet showing off their new Silverado Electric...a battery-electric pickup truck aimed directly at the Ford Lightning. Another highlight Jeff discussed was Ford's all-new Everglades trim for their red-hot Broncos. Jeff also breaks down the big announcement from Ford CEO Jim Farley who revealed that Ford plans to split the company into two new business units. Ford Blue will focus on internal combustion vehicles like the Bronco and Ford F150. The other company, Ford Model e, will focus on battery electric vehicles and connected digital vehicles.
