Mick‘s Super Comic’Cast

This is the first recorded episode of “The FanCast”! It doesn’t have an official page or feed yet, but we’re going to start recording and sharing anyways.  This show won’t always have the same guests, but RedBeard and Mick will normally be one or both of the hosts.

Mick brings his friends Ash, GunShow, and TopNotch onto the podcast to talk Rogue One: A Star Wars story just after they finished watching it!!  This may become it’s own MickRed Movies podcast in the future.

The MickRed Movie Podcast (tentatively named) is a show where we will do podcast form movie reviews/conversations, deep dives into specific themes in movies, and many other misc movie topics.

I’m setting the stage to talk about Superman: Lois and Clark. This time out it’s Superman: Lois and Clark Prologue Part 2 – Flashpoint: Project Superman #’s 1,2 and 3. Meet my good friend Ash, who has a lot to say about Superman!  We cover this very underrated story  about what happens if Ma and Pa Kent’s fears of Kal being recovered by the government were his story.

Mick and RedBeard cover Superman #39 & 40 – Human for a Day and that, uh, Justice League one.  Do you guys read this? Let me know and I’ll add some more stuff as it’s necessary.

Next time: For Now it looks like we’ll be covering Superman 41 (and maybe 42).

Also, I played a fan recreation of the “No Time for Caution” (Han Zimmer) song from the movie Interstellar during the synopsis.  The Good/Bad/Ugly song is “Triggernometry” from the game “Red Dead Redemption.”

Warning – This show contains some darker material that isn’t family friendly

This is a different kind of show, and something to listen to while in between episodes.  We talk all kinds of things, Superman, Daredevil TV, Avengers Age of Ultron, Interstellar, physics, depressing subjects and more…Don’t worry, no facts were harmed in the making of this episode, or checked either.

Next time: Superman #39 Part 8 – “Human for a Day”

I’ve got a new Mini-Segment debuting in this episode, I can’t wait to see how it is received…

This is a special show because one of my very best friends, RedBeard, has joined me to talk about Superman!!  We get that twist we’ve been waiting for, and a cliffhanger question that demands answers.  We’ll see what we can do…We’ll cover New 52 Superman #36, talk about the story and art, talk some news, the DC Famous Movie covers, and much more!!  Get to know RedBeard now, he’ll be back often!!

As it always goes when RedBeard and I do a show – stay for the outtakes after the credits!
