James West: Welcome back to Midas Letter RAW, it is Friday, and so being Friday, we’re going to do something a little bit differently. I have, as my opening co-host, Mr. Humble Howard Glassman, famed half of Humble & Fred in the morning, Humble & Fred in the afternoon, Humble & Fred at night – one of the longest-lasting syndicated radio shows in Canadian history, I would say.
Humble Howard: Did you almost call me a half-wit? Cause I think you –
Humble Howard: Cause I just want you to know, I didn’t know I was going to do the show, I haven’t shaved, I’ve got my Christmas sweater on, I’m happy and excited to be here with you, sir. What a wonderful – this is freaking me out too. I don’t want to see myself.
James West: Don’t look. The trick is not to look. Howard, you’re doing a performance on Sunday night at Yuk Yuk’s. tell us about that.
Humble Howard: [laughter] I will, gentle person. It’s called Kosher Kush, and it’s all about the world of weed and Hebrews. Can you imagine the Hebrews are starting to get into comedy now. It’s a new thing.
James West: I see, it’s a tribal affair.
Humble Howard: It’s a pretty cool show. It’s headlined by a pretty funny Jewish comedian named Ian Sorota, and myself, I’m hosting it, and all the comics are going to be talking about joints and Jews.
Humble Howard: And we invite everyone to come and see it.
James West: I have a friend down in California who makes marijuana juice out of cannabis, and so it’s about juice-making in cannabis?
Humble Howard: No, Hebrews, young man! It’s about juice-making, yes, it’s about the JEWS, my friend.
James West: Oh, the JEWS!
Humble Howard: I’m going to begin the evening by singing Havana, Marijuana, Havana Joint, that type of thing, and then we’re going to take it from there.
James West: Oh my god, that is awesome. I’m going to come and see you.
Humble Howard: It is funny, and you screwed the joke up, Ed, that’s not the joke. But it’s something like that. Anyhow, I’m really excited to be back on the Midas Letter, because when we got together in October, I had no idea of who you were and what this was. Having now seen it and watched it, I get a sense that you’re really filling a void because there’s not anything like this when it comes to the world of you know, marijuana content dissemination. It’s amazing. I want to say thank you for having me back.
