The Police have announced the arrest of a man seen in a viral video shooting AK47 at A&C Mall to usher in the New Year. A press release on Monday, signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Supt. Alexander Kwaku Obeng said, “A collaboration between the Police and Military Police has led to the arrest of Flt. Sergeant Nicholas Owusu Frimpong in connection with the discharge of a firearm at A&C Mall, East Legon on Friday, December 31, 2021.”

Police at Begoro in the Eastern Region have arrested a 56-year-old man for allegedly murdering his sister on December 27, at Begoro Zongo. Keanu Aboagye was smoked out from his hideout upon a tip-off. According to reports, he is suspected of having inflicted multiple cutlass wounds on Gladys Agyemang, 55, who bled to death.
