A mysterious company has begun logging in the forest near Cassie's farm, and they're probably looking for more than just lumber. Talking points include: The dubious pedagogy of leaving children alone with a class pet, who should play Visser Three in the movie, and skunk facts!

We are finishing up the first Ax narrated book in the Animorph series and it is choked-full of new Andalite information that sheds light on their ongoing war against the Yeerks. In this last half of the book, Ax is on his quest to kill Visser Three to avenge his brother's death, even if it means he kills himself in the process. Talking points include the deliciousness of pickles, fun facts about rattlesnakes, and the need to make Animorph bingo cards for repeated themes. Thermals, anyone?

It's here - the first Ax narrated book! In this episode, we are starting Book 8 and Ax has a whole slew of Andalite secrets he is struggling to keep around his human friends while he learns to navigate and survive on Earth. Talking points include crocheting Ax figurines in honor of his first book, snakes in combat against Hork Bajir, alarm clock traumas, and debating if you should put habanero peppers in chili.

One of the Animorphs gets a very sit-com case of amnesia, while a mysterious dust monster starts to hunt them all. Talking points include: Hints as to the effects of the Animorphs destroying the Kandrona Ray last book, how the townsfolk must be reacting to all these "escaped zoo animals", and the poor quality of Yeerk reality TV. Plus Flea Facts featuring a real-live former flea host (Indy) chewing on a rawhide in the background!

We are finishing up Animorphs' Book 7 - a Rachel narrated book. In this last half of the book, the Animorphs are trying to figure out how to change their bleak future from being conquered by Yeerks. Talking points include how Ax would react to Sees candy (and how we may or may not have reacted similarly), the continued relevance of Keanu Reeves, the grizzly bears of Katmai National Park (check out the park's bears on their live webcams here), and Morgan revealing her new Animorph tattoos. Yes, she truly is a super fan.

This book is narrated by Rachel and has some world changing consequences for the Animorphs. It's positively grizzly! Talking points include the Ellimist's introduction, Abercrombie & Fitch models, best methods of getting a Yeerk out of host, and how we created middle morph pictures of ourselves.

It finally happened. One of the Animorphs has become a Controller. Talking points include fly facts, the anatomy of the human ear canal, and a mysterious new entity Jake sees in the fugue that's definitely not straight outta Lord of the Rings.
