Exodus (The God Who Rescues) Series || Israel's exodus from Egypt is one of the most well-known stories of the Old Testament. We tend to remember many of the fascinating details (like the burning bush or the powerful plagues), but the book's main focus is how the Lord revealed Himself as the God who rescues His people. In this first message we begin our study of Exodus by looking back to Genesis and God's promise, plan, and providence.

One Another (The Path of Biblical Community) Series || We conclude our One Another series by looking at the command to love one another and how it relates to the other one another commands. If we love one another, we will naturally follow the other One Another commands.

One Another (The Path of Biblical Community) Series || In 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 Paul reminds believers we are to encourage one another. In this sermon we study what it means to encourage by looking at a man in the Bible who was so known for being an encourager that he was given a nickname that reflected this. As we look at his life we see several ways we can encourage one other. And most importantly, are reminded that our encouragement needs to be grounded in biblical truth and principles.

One Another (The Path of Biblical Community) Series || When we bear one another's burdens we fulfill the law of Christ. So what does it look like to bear each other's burdens? In Galatians 6:1-2 we see that one way we do this is by restoring each other when we are caught in sin. In this sermon we look at the what and the how of restoring one another.

One Another (The Path of Biblical Community) Series || Today's message focuses on how humility is foundational for honoring one another. We are challenged on how to live unselfishly so we can love others. To help us understand what humility looks like Paul uses Jesus as powerful example.

One Another (The Path of Biblical Community) Series || 1 Thessalonians 5:13 calls us to be at peace among each other and then in verse 15 we are called to do good to one another. In between both of these calls, Paul gives us a strategy on how to live them out. In this sermon we look at this strategy and how it shapes our relationship with others.

One Another (The Path of Biblical Community) Series || God's design is for His people to live in biblical community together. But that means we have to do life together and interact with each other, which means we're inevitably going to find ourselves in moments where we don't agree with each other. So what do we do when a bunch of diverse people, from diverse backgrounds, with diverse opinions gather together and don’t see eye to eye on everything all the time? Paul answers that question for us in Romans 14 and 15 by calling us to accept one another.

One Another (The Path of Biblical Community) Series || What does the word forgive mean to you? In today's sermon we look at forgiveness and what is needed to fulfill the call to forgive one another. We contrast verse 31, which shows examples of our natural response rooted in our self, with verse 32, which shows how we should respond if we are rooted in Christ.

One Another (The Path of Biblical Community) Series || We are constantly tempted to approach biblical community as consumers; 'how can I be fed and have my needs met?' But that's not how God designed it. God's design for biblical community is much different and much better, and we see His design for it in Hebrews 10:24-25 where we are called to 'stir up one another'. In this sermon, we look at the 'what', 'how', and 'why' of this challenge.

In this sermon, we look at 2 well-known stories involving two rich men and their different responses to Jesus. One will walk away sad, while the other will follow joyfully. In these two stories, we see that 'what is impossible with man is possible with God.'
