In this episode of Midlife by Design, Lori Lisai chats with Kelly Harrington, a registered dietitian and human design expert, to explore the connections between functional nutrition and human design. Join us as we dive into how understanding your human design can transform your relationship with food, manage stress, and support you through the hormone haze of midlife for more sustainable health and wellness.
Kelly's bio: Kelly has been a Registered Dietitian for 24 years and uses a functional nutrition approach to support people's health. This holistic approach focuses on finding the root cause of health issues - using food as natural medicine, and balancing core areas of health such as nutrition, stress, sleep, physical activity, emotional well-being, and self-love.
Kelly incorporates Human Design while working with nutrition clients in order to gain deeper insights into what drives them. Human Design provides a much deeper understanding about the person's unique operating patterns and identifies areas of resistance or conditioning that may be holding them back. She has seen human design help her clients transform energetically, ultimately improving their health and well-being.

Welcome to the Midlife by (Human) Design podcast!
Here's a question for you: as a woman in midlife, are you clear about what's ahead, or are you perhaps struggling with redefining yourself as your kids grow older? Are you seeking more depth after living at a superficial level for years? Maybe you suddenly have more space and time and aren't quite sure what to do with it all.
Coming back to who you came here to be is critical to living your midlife by design. If you continue to prioritize others, to live by others' expectations, then you're missing out on a huge opportunity to live the best years of your life. Instead of looking back and regretting that you never did the thing, NOW is the time to embrace those opportunities and leap.
I'm Lori Lisai, a Human Design mentor, teacher, and coach living in Vermont, and I believe that midlife is THE best time of life. It's truly the time when we can live for ourselves and fill our days with those things that truly feed our soulsโif we have the tools to do so and a healthy dash of courage. It takes attention to your mind, body, and spirit as you come back to the person you truly came here to be.
The Midlife by (Human) Design podcast will help you blaze your path and fill it with purpose, satisfaction, peace, delight, and success so you can charge ahead in this phase of life with confidence, courage, and commitment to making it the best time of your life yet.
Whether you're in your mid-30's, early 60's, or somewhere in between, this show will help you feel seen, inspired, and activated. You will learn how Human Design and other tools can support you through perimenopause and menopause, midlife transitions, career shifts, relationship shifts, and family dynamics so you can ground into your true self and live your midlife by design.
