Sorry not a Doctor or Psychologist.
Everything I know I learned on the job down in the trenches.
What happens when you spend 25 years pretending to be okay, raising four children, and hyper-managing a household while masking undiagnosed neurodivergence? Your body eventually chooses a day for you to stop.
In this raw and deeply honest first episode of MidLifeMaxLife, I share the hidden warning signs of midlife burnout that I ignored for years—from terrifying cognitive glitches and memory loss to doctors who dismissed my symptoms as standard anxiety. If you are a mother, caregiver, or midlife woman running on pure adrenaline and survival mode, this episode is your gentle wake-up call before the crash happens.

Let me share ‘my’ reality of coming home and adjusting to life after my burnout in those early days. I may have looked like the same old person who left the house before my hospital stay, but on the inside, I was meeting a whole new me. The actual burnout was the easy part. I now had to navigate life as a completely different person if i wanted to continue existing in this tired, worn out body that I had neglected and abused.
Sharing the day and moments leading up to my burnout which forced a hospital stay and an early retirement from teaching. What a gift😁
Do they really think throwing in late diagnosis ADHD/ASD and mixing it with anxiety, chronic burnout which ended a career, menopause and everything else thrown at midlife women, all while raising a family, is going to stop us. Get real. You have to sling a lot more than that at us to keep us from getting back up. Come share my journey so that it may be the advice you need to hear to wake up and start listening to your body before it packs it in.
