II Corinthians 5:14-21. God has loved and served us. When we respond to Him in faith, we become his beloved children. He then invites us to join Him in the family business of reconciling people to Himself.

I John 4:7-21. We are a part of the family of God because we have been loved and served by God. If we are living in line with who we are, what is the the number one thing that should result? And what does that look like?

Midtown Church is a family loved and served by God and compelled to love and serve Austin with God. But, why is that who we are?

It is common to believe that in order to be happy you need to focus on yourself. However, observation, experience, modern research, and God’s Word all say a key to happiness is serving others. Why is that?

It’s often said that money can’t make you happy. However, we all know that is not entirely true. There is a strong connection between money and happiness, but the connection isn’t what we would expect.

There are several rhythms that lead to happiness in life. God has "baked them into the cake" of humanity. These rhythms help us fight against the most common "happiness hindrances."

Happiness is found in being with those who love us deeply. And no greater happiness is discovered than the happiness that comes from BEING WITH God, because He loves us deeply.

What makes you happy? Contrary to what every advertisement you see tries to tell you, happiness is more about a who than a what. But why?

We deceive ourselves when we read God's word but don't obey it. We're prone to this deception because it is difficult to obey the word. However, we're enabled and compelled to obey the "word in text" when we consider the sacrifice of the "word in flesh.”

Growing believers feed their souls with solid food, not milk. Solid food requires chewing - studying and meditating on the word of God.
