  • Episode 12 - The Twelve Labours Of Hercules (Part 1)

    Welcome Miffsketeers!

It’s Episode 12, so you know what that means? IT’S THE FIRST OF OUR TWO-PART SPECIAL! We’ve decided it’s only fitting that this be our chance to discuss ‘The Twelve Labours of Hercules’. It’s a good’un but it’s also rather long. We’ll cover the first six labours in this episode and the other six in Episode 13 (#GoodAtMaths). So get ready to strap in for this heroic tale of gods, monsters and standard Matt and Dan ramblings.

We'd love to award the credit this to Miffs devotee - Pip Mason - who recommended this Miff. Matt and Dan were too giddy to remember to read out the email. You can also get in touch with us by emailing [email protected] or following us on Facebook and Twitter at @MiffsPodcast. You can follow Matt on @MattHossComedy. You can follow Dan, but rarely f****** posts anything.

Remember to also give us 5 Stars on Itunes please. The only reason you should be exempt from doing THIS WEEK is if you have accidently murdered your family and you are evading jail-time by doing asininie tasks. That is the only exception to not give us 5 stars.

  • Episode 11 - Arachne

    Welcome back Miffsketeers!

Ever wanted to prove a point so badly you were willing to enter the ultimate battle…A weaving battle? That’s right, things get crazy when a mortal woman challenges a goddess to a weave off. Yes, you’re still reading that correctly, weaving as in threading materials. Find out what the loser stands to, well lose, in episode 11 ‘Arachne’. Meanwhile Matt shares some very tender, personal feelings he wants to get off his chest. To offset this there is also burping and football talk.

Remember to follow us on Social media at @MiffsPodcast on both Twitter and Facebook. You can also email us at [email protected]. Please remember to also give us 5 Stars on Itunes. The only reason you should be exempt from doing so if you have angrily been turned into a spider. That is the only exception to not give us 5 stars.

  • Episode 10 - Perseus & Medusa

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US! It's not a birthday, its just our 10th episode, which for some strange reason we continuously refer to as a birthday. To celebrate Matt and Dan read the myth of Medusa, who has a stone-cold stare and snakey hair. The guys also discuss which actors they would cast as some of the characters featured in previous episodes. Seriously though 10 EPISODES!!! Thanks for listening guys.

Did you forget to send us your birthday gifts? Tut Tut. Well in lieu of an ACTUAL present. Why don't you follow us on Social media at @MiffsPodcast on Twitter and Facebook. And also give us 5 Stars on ITunes. The only reason we'll except for you NOT to give us a review is if you have been turned to stone by a fierce Gorgon. That is the only exception to not give us a 5 star review this week.

  • Episode 9 - Orpheus & Eurydice

    Welcome back Mifferlovers!

We're coming LIVE FROM THE UNDERWORLD today as we talk about one of the greatest tragedies of all time -----Matt's Love life (and the miff of Orpheus and Eurydice). It's a bumper pack of hilarity for you today, as we talk about Matt's Toyboy excursion, Matt's coffee-shop crush AND Matt's revelation about his virtual relationship with a video game character. In the meanwhile, Dan fiddles with some Blu-Tack.

Remember to follow us on Social media (Twitter and Facebook) at @MiffsPodcast. Also please give us a 5 Star review on Itunes or your podcast server. The only reason we'll except for you NOT to give us a review is if you are going tocollect the ethereal soul of your partner from the land of the dead. Or playing Mass Effect. Those are the only exceptions to not give us a 5 star review this week.

  • Episode 8 - Pygmalion

It's time for the event of the century...

IT’S THE WEETABIX CHALLENGE! Can Dan eat 12 Weetabix in the time it takes to read and rank the myth? Find out as we also discuss ‘Pygmalion’ a myth about a man who starts dating his own artwork. We’d also love to know how many times the words ‘Weetabix’ and ‘milk’ are mentioned in this episode. If you have the time to do such a task, let us know via [email protected] or on social media @miffspodcast.

Remember to give us 5 Stars on Itunes! The only reasonable and justifible excuseto not review usm is if you are busy trying to make your sex doll gain sentience (that one requires context). That's the only reason not to give us a review.

  • Episode 7 - Echo & Narcissus

    Welcome back to Miffs.

If you’ve ever caught a glimpse of yourself in the bathroom mirror and thought ‘core, I would!’ then this is the myth for you. It’s also two myths in one, as we discuss ‘Echo and Narcissus’, a myth that not only involves a guy who falls in love with himself, but also a girl who talks too much. Both Dan and Matt share the reading duties in this, the 7th episode of your favourite mythical comedy podcast.

Remember to follow us on Social media at @MiffsPodcast. Also give us 5 Stars on Itunes. The only reason you should be exempt from doing so is if you are making love to your own reflection (which we have no doubt that youare doing that). That is the only exception to not give us 5 stars.

  • Episode 6 - Pandora's Box

    Welcome back Miffsters!

Hold onto your horses because this ones about a woman who opens a box. Crazy I know. Yep, that’s right, it’s ‘Pandora’s Box’. This myth is more than just a story about Zeus giving a questionable wedding gift. It explains why terrible things exist in the world. However, it is also about a woman who gets given a box she can’t open for her wedding. Dan also talks about Weetabix like you’ve never heard.

Close the lid and join us inside Pandora's box - by which I mean:  please follow us on social media? Please follow us on @MiffsPodcast on Twitter and Facebook. If you have any queries or you would like to get involved  - please email us at [email protected]. We'd love to hear what Miffs you'd like us to cover. And please share with your friends.

Give us a 5 star rating on ITunes - the only exception to doing this is if that you have  recently unleased all the atrocities of mankind by opening up a seemingly innocuous gift. I mean, thats the only excuse to not give us a review.

  • Episode 5 - Kronos

    Welcome back Miffsters!

It's episode 5 time! This episode comes courtesy of fans who emailed in a suggestion for a myth. The myth in question? ‘Kronos’. The father of Zeus is our main protagonist in this week’s weird and very incestuous origin story. Matt and Dan also discuss some of life’s bigger questions, like ‘why is it so hard to use the toilet on a coach?’ And ‘Why do service stations have those sad arcades?’

Shout out to both Katie and Robert who suggested the Miff (Robert suggested it after the podcast record so we don't mention his name on the pod - but massive thanks to him all the same)!. Thanks for getting in touch. If you want to message us: email us on [email protected] or tweet and follow us on @Miffspodcast. Please do it. Please.

Also give us 5 Stars on ITunes please! Unless you are too busy castrating your dad. I mean, we was busy with that ALL WEEKEND.

    See you next weekend.

  • Episode 4 - Prometheus
Knock, Knock! Who’s there? Episode. Episode who? Episode 4 ‘Prometheus’...Ok. I promise this episode is more interesting, exciting and imaginative than that opening was. This week we discuss the Titan who stole fire from the Gods, and spoiler alert, Zeus isn’t happy about it. Matt tells us about his embarrassment when his comedy idle Mark Thomas became a passenger in his very, very untidy car. Oh, and Dan has a sad story about an old man crossing the road.
