Many economies are facing a growing soft skills gap — but AI could turn that challenge into an opportunity, said Kasima Tharnpipitchai, Head of AI Strategy at SCB 10X, at East Tech West 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.
“Prompt engineering, ways to work with AI, I think those are going to be essential skills going forward,” he said, noting that AI could even help train or augment soft skills like communication and empathy.
"In SCB 10X, we're piloting a program where we're using AI to help our customer service agents do better on those calls," he added.
