Emerging market economies play an "increasingly critical" role in advancing technology over the next few decades, and their ties with China are likely to strengthen, according to the Atlantic Council, a Washington think tank. This growing momentum echoes the enduring legacy of the Bandung Spirit – first ignited seven decades ago – which has inspired Global South nations to pursue a new path of common development through win-win cooperation. So, how can the Global South – representing over 40 percent of the world's economy and 80 percent of global growth – work towards common prosperity, cooperation and progress?
