STORYLINE:
A group of hardline supporters of the Iranian government gathered in central Tehran on Tuesday, hours after Iran and Israel agreed to a ceasefire.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced the two nations had agreed to a “complete and total ceasefire” soon after Iran launched a limited missile attack Monday on a U.S. military base in Qatar, retaliating for the American bombing of its nuclear sites.
The fragile ceasefire appeared to hold Tuesday after initially faltering, and U.S. President Donald Trump expressed frustration with both sides, saying they have fought “for so long and so hard” that they do not know what they are doing.
Iran's state media promoted the ceasefire as a victory, saying Iran's missile strike against the U.S base had forced the enemy to ask for a ceasefire.
