Like that's the biggest misconception right now and if people knew the countless hours and the money and the time that I spent going to DC literally. With not a meeting scheduled. 8. Mid of the Chrisleys leaving the room after the press conference
    STORYLINE:
Pardoned reality TV star Todd Chrisley spoke to media for the first time on Friday after being pardoned of fraud and tax charges by President Donald Trump.
During a press conference, the star of "Chrisley Knows Best" says he and his wife Julie Chrisley were "blessed to have our family back and we're blessed to be coming back to television because we do have a much bigger story to tell now than we ever have."
Chrisley says he and his wife Julie were victims of a corrupt prosecution.
When asked if he had any remorse, Chrisley said, "I would have remorse if it was something that I did."
He says they will detail the proof of the wrongful conviction in an upcoming television show.
His daughter Savannah Chrisley, also speaking at the news conference, was adamant that it was her hard work that won the day. She has been a staunch Trump supporter and endorsed his candidacy while also speaking about her parents in a speech at the Republican National Convention last summer.
"Obviously the biggest misconception right now is that I either paid for a pardon or slept for a pardon," said Savannah Chrisley. "If people knew the countless hours and the money and the time that I spent going to DC literally. With not a meeting scheduled. And I just got on a plane and went and said I'm gonna be in the right room at the right time and meet the right people."

One of Israeli strikes hit a tent sheltering displaced people in the southern city of Khan Younis in the afternoon, killing 13 people including eight children, hospital officials said.

Deadly strikes across Gaza on Friday killed at least 27 people -according to hospital officials- while Hamas said it was still reviewing a U.S. proposal for a temporary ceasefire in the Strip.
The uncertainty over the new proposal came as Israel continues its offensive in the territory, forcing thousands to evacuate to an every day smaller area.
In Khan Younis, a strike hit a tent killing 13, including eight children, officials at Nasser hospital said.
The Israeli military did not immediately comment.
The bodies of other 12 people, including three women, were brought to Shifa Hospital on Friday morning from the nearby Jabaliya refugee camp.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said the bodies of two others were brought to a hospital in Gaza City.
Hospital officials also said Friday that at least 72 had been killed in Gaza during the previous day.
That figure does not include some hospitals in the north, which are largely cut off due to the fighting.
Since the war began, more than 54,300 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
The war began with Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel, which left around 1,200 dead and took about 250 hostages, some still in captivity in Gaza.
