  • Trump says tariffs may pose ‘transition problems’ but levies will eventually be a ‘beautiful thing
President Trump acknowledged Thursday there may be “transition problems” in the economy due to his tariff package — but insisted the duties would turn out to be a “beautiful thing.”
“There’ll be a transition cost and transition problems, but in the end, it’s going to be, it’s going to be a beautiful thing. We’re doing again, what we should have done many years ago,” Trump told reporters during a cabinet meeting.
    “There’ll always be transition difficulty.”
The president postponed his global reciprocal tariff package for 90 days on Wednesday, save for a universal 10% rate on most imports and a 125% duty on China — which the White House clarified Thursday could rise as high as 145%.

  • Modern Democrats reveal their true intentions align with those of the Confederacy
Modern Democrats have latched onto an argument in favor of illegal immigration — and it’s the same one pro-slavery Democrats used in the 1800s. NY Post contributor Adam B. Coleman shares this story.
“So, I had to go around the country and educate people about what immigrants do for this country, or the fact we are a country of immigrants. The fact is ain’t none of y’all trying to go and farm right now,” Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) said at a speech commemorating Grace Baptist Church’s 125th anniversary in Waterbury, Conn.
“You’re not, you’re not. We done picking cotton. We are. You can’t pay us enough to find a plantation.”

  • DOGE: millions in taxpayer dollars wasted on unemployment claims for ‘fake people’ #shorts
Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) revealed in a bombshell finding that millions of dollars in unemployment claims have been going to “fake people” who haven’t even been born yet — some not even in this century. NY Post reporter Deirdre Bardolf shares this story.
DOGE claimed it reviewed an initial survey of unemployment claims since 2020 that found that 9,700 people whose birth dates aren’t for another 15 years have claimed $69 million in benefits.
In one absurd case, a person whose birthday was listed in the year 2154 claimed $41,000, according to an X post by the department.
