This is the moment projectiles from an Iranian missile attack flash in the night sky over Israel’s capital Jerusalem on Saturday (14 June).

Iran launched a fresh missile barrage towards Jerusalem after it vowed "heavy and destructive" attacks, as the Israeli military continues to strike several targets across Iran.

Iranian state TV said more than 100 missiles were launched in the second wave of their operation "True Promise 3".

Israeli Police said it received reports of a fallen explosive device in a community in the Northern District.

Initial reports indicated that there were several casualties and damage at the scene.

Tensions flared in downtown Los Angeles on June 14 as police deployed tear gas and flash bangs to disperse "No Kings" protesters rallying against Donald Trump.

Protests took place the same day as a military parade in Washington, D.C., for the Army’s 250th anniversary, which coincided with the president’s birthday.

Demonstrations protested what organisers described as Mr Trump’s authoritarian agenda, including recent immigration raids that have rattled communities across the country, including in LA.

Donald Trump called the United States ‘the hottest country in the world’ during his military parade speech.

The president celebrated his 79th birthday by attending the Army’s 250th anniversary in Washington, D.C., on Saturday (14 June).

Trump listed off accomplishments of the military branch over history, lauding the bravery and sacrifice of past service members.

“Thanks to their extraordinary service and devotion, 250 years later, America stands tall,” the president declared. “America stands proud, and America stands free. We’re the hottest country in the world right now.”

Trump then promised that the U.S. will “ soon be greater and stronger than ever before.”

“No Kings” demonstrations marched in hundreds of cities to protest what organizers describe as President Donald Trump’s authoritarian agenda, including recent immigration raids that have rattled communities across the country.

“The corruption has gone too far,” protest organizers wrote on their website. “No thrones. No crowns. No kings.”

Hundreds of thousands of people participated in the demonstrations, but no events were scheduled in Washington, D.C., where a military parade for the Army’s 250th anniversary is underway, coinciding with the president’s birthday.

The protests so far have not involved the kind of mass arrests and civil disobedience seen in Los Angeles over the last week, though there have been sporadic security threats, including protesters hit with vehicles in San Francisco and Virginia, as well as a threat against lawmakers in Texas that prompted the evacuation of the state capitol building.

Prince George gave Prince Louis a quick nudge on the Buckingham Palace balcony as his younger brother waved to crowds during the Trooping the Colour flypast in London on Saturday (14 June).

The young royals joined their sister, Princess Charlotte, and their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, to accompany the King and Queen in observing the planes travel over the palace.
