From his favourite meal, to his favourite president and plenty in-between, children visiting the White House as part of the Take Your Child to Work Day event got to know much more about US president Donald Trump.

The children got to quiz White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt during a press briefing on Tuesday (20 May).

One child asked if Mr Trump likes to give hugs, while another wanted to know what his favorite food is.

One question that attracted plenty of attention was when a child asked how many people Trump had fired.

Ms Leavitt was also asked what super power the US president would like to have and who is his favorite president, besides himself.

Seven days after his inauguration, Donald Trump issued the “Iron Dome for America” executive order to create a cutting-edge defense system that protects the U.S. from long-range missile attacks.

Now, he’s unveiling even more details of the shape and scope of the plan, with an expected announcement Tuesday that Gen. Michael Guetlein, the current vice chief of space operations, will lead the Golden Dome project.

The idea evokes the concept of Israel’s missile defense system, but there would be several key differences between the U.S. ally’s Iron Dome and Trump’s so-called “Golden Dome”.

Ibiza resident Erika Barrachina shared a TikTok video of British travellers screaming and chanting “come on Ibiza” in the cabin on Saturday (17 May).

She captioned the footage: “My trip yesterday London-Ibiza with easy jet was a real horror!! I was scared, a plane full of real English animals!!”

According to Erika, during the almost two and a half hour flight from Luton, passengers prevented flight attendants from working by “standing, screaming, kids hitting each other, drinking little bottles of alcohol one after the other”.

The Spanish passenger said: “This is unacceptable! They shouldn’t let these people on the plane or sell alcohol on it!”

An easyJet spokesman said: “Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate disruptive behaviour onboard. The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet's highest priority.”

Katy Perry paused her live show to jokingly "accuse" one of her fans of sending private messages to her husband, Orlando Bloom.

The singer, 40, was performing at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise Valley on Saturday, 17 May, when she stopped mid-way through her set and crouched down to address a concert-goer.

"I know why you're here. Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man... you've been doing it for months, ever since the residency," the singer said.
