This is the moment police found a haul of Apple devices worth nearly £100,000 in the back seat of a car after masked raiders hit a phone shop in central London.

Officers were called to reports of a burglary at the O2 store in Tottenham Court Road on 24 July, where a gang reportedly entered the shop wearing balaclavas and made off with around 100 iPhones and scores of Apple Watches.

Three men aged 25, 24, and 18 were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary minutes later in nearby Cranleigh Street. A search on the car also uncovered a large machete. All three remain in custody.

A couple decided to take their relationship to another level — by tying the knot at 35,000ft on a United Airlines flight.

Jake Meli and Abigail Power were ‘United’ in holy matrimony on board a flight from Newark, New Jersey, to Orlando, Florida, exchanging vows while surrounded by fellow passengers and flight attendants.

United revealed that the in-flight wedding idea initially started off as a dare.

Jake’s friend got married on a cruise ship out at sea and challenged the groom to “one up him” by getting married in the air.

A holiday with friends took a dark turn and ended in tragedy for teenager Jay Slater.

The 19-year-old never made it back home from the trip after attempting a treacherous 14-hour walk back to his villa following a drug and alcohol-fuelled night out.

He ended up falling 25 metres down a ravine in the mountains of the Spanish island of Tenerife, an inquest into his death has now heard.

But at the time, in summer last year, a major missing person investigation was launched, as the teenager had appeared to have just vanished. It marked the start of a nightmare ordeal for his family and friends.

Donald Trump has claimed Europe “had better get its act together” as he arrived at the start of a four-day visit to Scotland.

Trump was greeted by Scottish Secretary Ian Murray as he landed at Glasgow’s Prestick Airport, before quickly launching a broadside at at EU migration policies as he spoke to waiting reporters.

“ You better get your act together or you're not gonna have Europe anymore,” he said, adding: “ You’ve got to stop this horrible invasion that's happening to Europe.”

Trump’s comment come against a backdrop of tension over the housing of migrants in regional areas of the UK, with a string of violent protests taking place outside a hotel believed to be housing asylum seekers in Epping, Essex.

Israeli teen ‘refusers’ burn their army draft letters in protest at the IDF's actions in Gaza.

During a rally in Tel Aviv, dozens took to the streets in support of the young Israelis, who set their drafts on fire.

The refuser movement, activists say, is growing. But young activists say they remain on the fringes, despised by some, disliked by many.

The protest comes at a time of increasing international pressure on Israel.

Starvation has torn through the devastated enclave, killing dozens of children.
