Mike and Vonia are back (already!) to break down the 2024 Golden Globes. From experiences they had day of, to the somewhat infamous opening, to each presenter and winner, they share their thoughts on bits that worked, bits that didn't, and what they think separated the two. Let's all get in party mode! (Or not. Everyone do your own thing)

Mike saw Madonna in concert, and Vonia has been pluggin' away getting ready for the Holidays. She's also really gotten into some animated films, and Mike has two outgoing TV programs to acknowledge, as well as a new one. Then it's the lack of Female led comedy specials, and a word about race etiquette. They talk about the nominated songs from Barbie, and music in general, as well as the season, a friends actual job title, and, believe it or not, colon health. Remember, it's the Holiday, you can order anything!

Vonia has had a very busy week, and Mike got a hair cut he didn't ask for. There's brief discussion of the Golden Globes, and then Vonia shares a few things she enjoyed during the down time, Mike saw a couple a movies that made an impression, he talks about a movie he's not super anxious to see, she's kind of over bras, they both have thoughts on parental supervision, and Mike is very excited about an up coming concert. Celebration, indeed! 

It's a somewhat random conversation this week dealing with a favored returning drama and its cast of theatre actors, a talk about the kindness of others, and a very busy schedule. Then it's a holiday movie rewatch, a limited series mystery, an expensive costume, a broken closet, decorating for the holidays, and an affliction of Mike's, named. Bless you. 

Mike tells a couple of truly silly stories, and Vonia is grateful to be past a health scare. Then she talks about a delightful Holiday special and film, and Mike shares a limited series and returning comedy series. There's the hustle and bustle of the season, outlets that don't work, tales of recent and long ago Thanksgivings, cats, and a fun new device. Tis the season.

Vonia and Mike are back with a slightly shorter episode, but stories about what they've been up to. They discuss a movie they both liked, Mike has both an album and film that have made an impression on him, and Vonia is into a streaming show and a reality competition host. Then it's technology that doesn't work, a disappointing action movie, a broken sign, fixed, and an autobiography voiced by the writer. So much to be thankful for. 

Vonia is home with the kids, and Mike is having continuous issues with his apartment. Also, he has a new podcast, and Vonia loves to golf. Then they discuss some television programs, including a couple of returning shows they're both enjoying, and a recent film that cheered Mike up after a hard day. There are a few summer activities shared, a discussion on the healthy act of crying, and a goodbye for now. Enjoy the summer!
