Mike & Dave Hit the Stage

So, this is our first "Part 2" coming from our 3rd episode to now. It has been an interesting trip and a wild ride. we look at more evil or devil related songs. Mike overshares, Dave also overshares, but that's nothing new. We find new common ground and all new things to hate. Man we love doing this.

Have you ever listened a song and  the riff just hits you? It takes you to a different place mentally, sending chills up you spine and makes the hair stand up on you arms. this time we look at the riffs that make us think that maybe the riff is just too damn good.

89.5fm in New York and New Jersey is home to WSOU Seton hall pirate radio. playing metal, hardcore, and punk when no one else was really trying to. Showing off local bands and hometown heroes, when it still felt like "regular radio" was pay to play. looking at their semi-pro DJs rotation of songs 5 at a time and being surprised at how things have and haven't changed.

When is imitation not the sincerest form of flattery? It's usually right about the time someone takes your idea and pretends that it was theirs. We look at artists that took someone else's ideas and ran. Whether it was music, lyrics, or even an entire identity, these artists are guilty of being rip-offs. Who did it first? Who did it best? Who cares? apparently we care for some strange reason...

What could be better than a great song? A song that isn't ruined by some Yoko Ono voice wrecking the entire experience. Mike the Angry Wizard and I look at songs without vocals. Instrumental tracks that make our hearts sing. I felt gross just typing that. UGH!!!
