This morning on Chris and Stef the focus was on the horrendous fire that continues to burn across Mt Canobolas. Chris and Stef spoke RFS Representatives about the circumstances of the fire, whether it is being treated as suspicious, the news of an injured fire fighter who was air lifted to hospital, as well as the details as to how many were on the ground and potential risks. The team also spoke about local Kiosks being set up around the region for further information for locals and where to take donations.

The show this morning received many calls from locals from the Mt Canobolas/Nashdale region who were brave in sharing their story about staying to defend their homes and stories of those who chose to leave, as well as a request from locals of the area to please keep off the roads so they can evacuate quickly and emergency services can pass through easily.
