We had to stay on our toes to riff with Cristian LaBar from the Community Theatre of Howell's Improv troop (and keep from barfing at the mention of vomit cheese). Then we talked about the school board shenanigans in Brighton Area Schools with Rich Perlberg before blowing out. the candles for Bonnie's birthday.

We were joined by Keith Jones & Katy Urban of FlexTech High School who discussed how their students responded with positivity to bigoted graffiti that greeted them on the first day of school. Then we talked politics (shocker) with Rich Perlberg and discussed how a possible Senate matchup between Mike Rogers and Elissa Slotkin and then hit the gridiron with JD for Toss Back Trivia.

We went over the latest on Thursday's tornado near Williamston, then got the lowdown from Michael Besom who plays Governor Von Richterhenkenpflichtgetruber (say that three times fast) in Desperate Measures at The Dio before Jon ascotted his way to another victory in Toss Back Trivia.

We were live at El Arbol Taqueria as we talked with Owner/Chef Steve Pilon & Brighton DDA Chairman Tim Corrigan about the finishing up of Phase One of the Brighton Streetscape Project. Then we chatted with Jill Jack as she returns to Livingston County for some shows and then got a dose of Howell Melons during JD's Toss Back Trivia.

Jeff Minock from the Coach Minock Varsity Club Foundation stopped by to talk about their beer tent fundraiser on August 19th at the Howell Eagles Club, but not before we played with our new remote control camera (well, Jon did before Mike took it away). Then we drank some Lions Koolaid with Rich Perlberg, got pink with Barbie envy during JD's Tossback Trivia and got a Greta Van Fleet review from Susan. And of course, we let Bonnie Runyan have the final word.

We spoke with Raechel Harris from Cooper and Binkley Jewelers about their toy fundraising drive through August to benefit kids at Mott Children's Hospital and Bronson Hospital. Snazzy was the word of the day (at least for Jon) as they talked newspaper boycotts with Rich Perlberg, Animal House with JD for Toss Back Trivia and what's the latest at Torch 180. Then we ended with the final word from Bonnie, who decided to pick up this week. LOL

It was a Total Cluster Fudge as we spoke with Alisa Shakespeare on her decision to close her Downtown Brighton location with some pointed words about the Streetscape Project. Then we hosted Nicole Colley and Jean Barnas from the Alzheimer's Association about the latest drug breakthroughs and treatment options as we head toward the #WalkToEndALZ on 9/30/23. We knew much less about Jim Harbaugh's reported suspension after speaking with Rich Perlberg and then ran a two-minute drill on JD's Toss-Back Trivia.

One-eyed Jon commiserated (whined?) about getting old before Larry Prout Jr., and his mom Kathy, joined us to talk about the Larry Jr. 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run. Then we brought in Steve DeBruyne from The Dio Theatre in Pinckney to discuss their latest production - “Desperate Measures” before musician Steve Schulte told us all about the 2nd annual Concert for Ukraine on 7/28 in Brighton. Oh, and we talked Fake Elector Indictments w/ Rich Perlberg.

We kicked off our inaugural weekly podcast from RE/MAX Platinum, as Jordan Genso joined us to talk real estate and stinky basements. We got a live report from War Correspondent Rich Perlberg at the Hotel Doherty in Clare and then zoomed to a deluxe apartment in the sky with JD's Tossback Trivia before giving Bonnie Runyan the Last Word.
