    Hey thanks so much for checking out this video I just want to give you a quick background on myself because it will really help you understand my everything that I teach you and the rest of this video. So back in 2010 I got laid off I was working for a pretty high end e-commerce boutique company. They sold really high end baby furniture like $5000 cribs and like really awesome stuff. It was at the height of the recession and I'd worked for them for about three years and before that I'd been in sales selling like TVs and electronics and things like that. Internet was just a new thing really. And so I got laid off and I just had my first daughter who was two months and made a move into my dad's house. And from that point I built a six figure video production and marketing agency with no money or experience really because I was very creative. I wanted to be an entrepreneur I wanted to own my own business sense you know my birth really. That's really what I wanted to do. And I knew that I had to take this opportunity. I didn't have a job. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what direction to go to. I couldn't go get a job with my skill set because of the economy. So I knew I had to make money. I had a brand new baby girl. We were living at my dad's house. I was collecting unemployment so I had to make this happen.

    In this episode we're going to be looking at a three growth hacking strategies for your Amazon business. My name is Mikee and I am the founder of the private label collective which is a amazing community and course that teaches you how to effectively sell your own products online. I also have a consultancy business where I help entrepreneurs sell physical products or information online. So if we have met before I really appreciate you listening to my voice. First of all on this podcast and if you have been listening to me for a long time on this podcast I just want to take a second and really appreciate you and really thank you because I've been completely negligent and have no idea what I ever was doing on this podcast but I am committed to get back to being consistent because I have been digging so deep in finding the best strategies to be able to sell the two things that really you only can sell online which is products or services. So before I go on into selling products online Eisold services I have a video production and marketing company I've been doing that for almost seven years now and what it's done is allowed me to make a full time living off of the Internet. Basically I make videos for companies and help them get them on the internet but I have used all of my resources and training to really figure out the primary strategy on how to use the major platforms that exist on the Internet that steal people's attention.
    [00:01:50] And this was the thing that I was struggling so hard in my business for a long time that got me into selling physical products and really digging deep into that was you know building a business that I could build an asset and I didn't have to continually work in order to create money. That was the problem I keep on finding is. So I started my own business doing video production. But then if I stopped trying to get clients or if I stop trying. You know I did a lot of cold emailing and I did a ton of email marketing if I started doing that then I wouldn't get any money and nothing was coming from it. Even in the Amazon business that can somewhat happen if you don't set the solid foundation and set your business up properly. So we're going to be looking at the three main growth hacking strategies for Amazon sellers but I want to kind of give you the opportunity that if you are an Amazon seller and you're not doing any of these three strategies now as far as I explain them then I want you to text me if you're in the U.S. should be free.     Firstly, to find the best products to sell online you need a Chrome browser so you need to use Google Chrome as your browser and this can only be done on your computer, but when you are doing product research the fastest ways to do it on your laptop computer. Use the Chrome browser and the reason why is because you want to add this Chrome extension to your browser. What it does is it gives you a top-level view of all of the rankings. So then when you're looking at product pages you get a higher level view. You'll see what I'm saying.
    You need to then just go Google DS Amazon Quick View. Just Google that and you'll see the link, click on it, and then click add to Chrome and then you can go through to the top level back to the page we were at before, If you sell products online with Amazon bestsellers top-level bestseller category. [01:10:30] If you click onto it now that you have an extension available you'll see what you're seeing here. If you don't have an extension going then you won't see this but I'm going to be using this as an example because it does make things go a lot faster for you. So let's not mess around.
    What we're looking at here is the rankings and they're shown on the forefront. Otherwise, if you don't have this extension, you have to click individually into each actual product, [01:11:00] go down to the product detail section, and the rank is listed there. You can still do it, so on your phone, that's really only way to see your rank if you're watching this or you're looking on your phone, you have to click into the product then go to product details.
    So you see here if you click into our arts, crafts, and sewing category the number one product here is these pens. So what we're going to be now looking for is what type of bestseller rank can we actually be successfully [01:11:30] competing with, essentially, and what would that competition look like. What's it going to mean for our dollar, how much money do we need to put out to consistently start selling, how would we start selling these types of things.
    First of all the rank that we're looking for is anywhere between 1 and 15,000. Now, this is going to be a little bit vague but you have to understand each category when you sell products online has an individual demand. That demand is basically understood by the level of [01:12:00] the bestseller ranks in the top level categories. So maybe the home and kitchen has a higher rank than arts and crafts for the overall demand because there's more people going to them. Rankings are relative to the category. But 1 in 15,000, pretty much on all categories, are going to get you a product that's consistent if you match it up with the rest of the data points that were going to talk about.
