So yeah, I was playing Yu-Gi-Oh in between doing admin tasks for my real life job and I'm mattering through those tasks in order to keep me on task on those tasks. Anyway, I do the Yu-Gi-Oh deck which has the dolls that are also sweeties if if you know you know. Anyway if anyone's got like more recent cards of that set and I'll take them off your hands for no money because I'm poor but I'd like them cuz I just absolutely love collecting now I'm my favourite set absolutely brilliant. I just looked on looking for stuff to do a thumbnail with. Lunchtime fighting games... except also during the easter holidays so Frozen is on in the background and sometimes my eldest tries to persuade me to give her more chocolate...I'm not an incredibly responsible parent but I don't think I'm the VERY worst.

The baby derails my play through of this charming little platformer.

Right? I'm going to try this one with the voice keyboard thing that's on my phone. Doesn't know how to deal with a woo woo anyway. So yeah, I use another one of my brakes to play some Mario Kart 7 although obviously single player because you can't play it multiplayer anymore. For official channels I'm going to see if there are unofficial ones which will work because you know what if Nintendo are going to abandon these formats then other people will have to pick it up, won't they? And there is a whole thing like I think it's called protendo? Or is it pretender? Oh who knows. Anyway, I tried doing this with the voice recognition so we'll see how sensible it turns out. So I play Metal Slug X for a bit (about a third of the game to be fair) and then natter about Wrestlemania while working.

To summarise, Metal Slug X is the best one, Wrestlemania XL was very good and I'm genuinely optimistic about the WWE right now.

I had egg lump sandwiches, and enjoyed a Belmont who could climb ropes but not fall next to a rope. Really lovely art, kind of awful sprites, and everything that isn't fun about Castlevania. Despite being a series I quite like but rarely finish.

So I played and thoroughly enjoyed Killer Instinct after being unimpressed with the card game. I'm fairly sure the audio quality is abysmal but that's the show innit?

So the opening is alright if you want to hear wrestling and gaming opinions... The actual game though? Not good. If you're wanting to play an anime card game on ds I would stick with Yu-Gi-Oh. The art is good, but the core systems are sluggish for a card game on the platform. It's not as nippy or thuggish as the NeoGeo Pocket colour versions, and therefore not as fun. Also I mistakenly mentioned the wonderswan, which is incorrect. Oh well.

Akira Toriyama just died. That sucks, he was brilliant.
