When you put your mind to something, anything is possible. While performing one of the most daring vaults, things got terribly wrong and shortly afterwards, Gary found himself lying in a hospital bed, paralyzed. But to be paralyzed for the rest of his life was simply not an option for him. He had such big plans and started visualizing himself back in the gym from day 1 in hospital. Not only did he return to the gym, but he also was and still is a magnificent coach, inspiring so many people around the globe. He believes that life DOES NOT HAPPEN TO US, BUT FOR US!
