We talk about phyto re mediators, top soil degradation, and economic relief areas - all apart of their amazing vegan business!

Sarah and I talk about veganizer events in omnivorous restaurants, pop-up markets, and growth of the vegan movement in Colorado and beyond!

On this episode, you’ll hear the story of Liz Siu of Karma Cup! Karma Cup is a nonprofit that serves vegan coffee and kombucha to fund, employ, and house the homeless in a sober living community. Karma Cup educates the homeless on plant based eating, trains them for future work, and supports them with housing. Liz and I talk the preconceived notions of the homeless, her experience and passion to serve them, and how we connect it all with veganism!

On this episode, you’ll hear the story of Malina Farias Founder of Peaceful Rebel Vegan Cheese. She shares her story of starting her local vegan cheese business, and how it went from party favor to a local favorite across Colorado. We talk about common harmful ingredients in vegan cheese, supporting local businesses, her collaborations with restaurants across the city, how to show up everyday, and her goals for the future! I’m so grateful to have had Malina on the very first episode of the podcast, as she was the first member of the Mile High Vegan Network as well! We take a minute to settle in, but I really enjoyed my conversation with my friend who runs a great local vegan business!
