David was just 23 years old the night he lost his life. He didn't live in a bustling city or a bad part of town, he lived in a town books are written about and Hallmark can only dream of. He lived in Ashland Oregon.

Starting in the early 70s the bodies of various girls and young women would be recovered from a 25-acre patch of land dubbed The Texas Killing Field, including a particularly desolate section of highway, I-45.
