Hear me and my friend, Ethan, talk about his experience in the Marine Corps and what it was like to work on the Marine Security Guard (MSG) program living abroad. In this episode we dive deep into education benefits and the differences between TA (Tuition Assistance) and the GI Bill, further explaining how to make the most of it while still in service. Ethan has a lot of cool stories and tons of wisdom on how to leverage the opportunities the military has to offer. I learned a lot from talking to him and I hope you do too.
In today's episode, I talk to my old roommate from the Marine Corps. Cody spent a number of years in and experienced a different type of contract that did include some time in the brig. Despite some difficulties early in his career, he was able to rebuild his reputation in order to receive an honorable discharge and keep all his benefits.
On this week's episode I have my good friend Josh Hammons. He just got out of the Marine Corps after 8 years and worked with munitions and ordinance on multiple aircraft frames. He was able to travel all around the world during his career on different naval ships and was able to save up a ton of money using his strategy, despite being knocked down to zero during his first contract.
I hope you guys learn as much as I did from hearing about his experiences.
