In this week's episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Matt Jimenenez aka matts_alright. Matt was an infantryman in the Marines from 2008 to 2012. Throughout the conversation we talk about Matt's upbringing, how he found himself in the Marines and his deployments around the world. Despite spending 4+ years in the Marines, I never experienced the things Matt did, so I always appreciate learning from and gaining from the perspective of guys like Matt who experienced all the things I at one point thought I wanted. I hope you can learn from and appreciate his perspective as much as I did. For more on Matt and and his efforts to shine light on mental health, find him anywhere @matt_alright

Neville is a great example of someone who used the military to lay a strong financial foundation at and early age and is preparing himself to strategically use the VA benefits available to him to pursue his nexts goals in life. Morgan was in the navy for 4 years and sailed all around the world. He originally joined the Navy to get away from his hometown after watching his friends struggle and pass away due to drug use. He was determined to find a different path and not allow his life to end up the same. Throughout this episode, Morgan reminisces about his time in the Navy, telling stories of ship life and the experiences he lived through. While he acknowledges not every day was great, they did culminate to be the "good ol days".
