Are millennials caring less about politics at a time when we should care more than ever? No one wants to admit apathy, but the current state of affairs, out of touch officials, and disconnected career politicians make it harder than ever to fulfill our democratic duties. Even though this feels true, it also doesn’t feel okay. How can we reignite our trust and the torch from the generations before us?

As aging millennials, we’re caught between combating any physical sign we’re getting older and radically accepting the reality of where we are in life. With more financial freedom we can access products or procedures that might help maintain our youthful looks, but there’s also a heightened awareness about what we’re putting in and on our bodies. We simply cannot win. We’ve called in a first responder to help us get over our hangups and do whatever the hell we want with our faces.

Maybe it’s perfectionism or maybe it’s Maybelline, but there’s a nagging feeling that the cis and straight community are getting it wrong with allyship when it comes to drag. For our summer mini episodes we’re giving our first responders a break, and instead, putting a bandaid on a current emergency: what if we don’t want to hate-on the younger generations? We’re bravely breaking the tradition of claiming that whatever generation you belong to is superior and giving Gen Z some well-deserved compliments. Instead of another “kids these days” rant, here is an ode to why we love their style, boundaries, and attitude.

For our summer mini episodes we’re giving our first responders a break, and instead, putting a bandaid on a current emergency: should we be forcing ourselves to be social out of fear that we’re becoming reclusive? We weigh the pros and cons of being alone, while comparing our social lives and how we’ve grown to be more comfortable with giving ourselves what we need.

For our summer mini episodes we’re giving our first responders a break, and instead, putting a bandaid on a current emergency: if we want to live long and stay healthy, is getting angry the answer? Inspired by reactions to Ariana Madix on Vanderpump Rules season 11, and coloured by our own experiences, we explore why we might feel vilified instead of celebrated for expressing ourselves.
