Millennial & Dad descend into madness – March Madness – as Mickey and Dad talk NCAA basketball. At least they agree on one thing, it is the best time of year.

Mickey and Dad relive and review their holiday travels and look ahead as Mickey heads back to school.

Millennial Mickey and Dad are joined by a Rob who is a Bradley professor, and his millennial daughter, Ruth, a junior at Bradley for a deep dive conversation on the impact of screen time on the “i-generation”. As should be expected, the kids don’t agree with the Dads on much.

Mickey watches the Mayweather fight in Russian and googles down on the historical origins of some common sayings and they are unexpected to say the least. Also Spike shares a great moment of sports passion captured in the midst of Hurricane Harvey devastation.

There two competitions recently, one with over 10 million dollars for first place, one with 10 thousand dollars for first. You might be surprised what they were, Mickey was.

Spike informs Mickey that he’s unknowingly in possession of evidence that could possibly send a celebrity to jail. Also, Mickey is out of town so it’s the first remote hookup for the podcast, assuming that Spike can solve the technical challenge.

Mickey’s weekend involved running into Lawrence Taylor – a little drunk, Lawrence Taylor again – really drunk, and Henry Winkler – sober. Also, it’s the night before Mickey’s 21st birthday, and Spike talks about the broadcast that happened the night Mickey was born.

Spike expects his 20 year-old son to have a different take on people and events, but several times in episode 4 Mickey really surprises Spike with his perspective of who someone is, or what they are known for.
