It might be a good idea to keep some palm branches handy because the King of kings and Lord of lords has plans to return some Day. Because He said so, He most certainly will. And He'll arrive right on time.

We're all sojourning from salvation to glorification on the sometimes hard and grueling road of sanctification--being changed into the likeness of Christ. It's a route lined with orange barrels.

Jesus has borne the punishment for our sin on the cross. That's called love saturated in mercy! But rejecting His atoning sacrifice has eternal consequences. Jesus' mercy indeed triumphs over judgment but we dare not spurn that mercy.

Jesus' victory over sin and death, won for us on His bloody cross, affirmed by His empty tomb, was the victory of all victories! And it was most certainly a victory unachievable without His omni-intervention.

Sometimes little turns out to be big. Sometimes small actions loom large. When we leave the choreographing and appraisals up to God, the outcomes, even those we fail to see unfolding, always turn out right.

He uses the ordinary to achieve what's extraordinary. And because He uses these means, we should heartily embrace them and never underestimate their potency and potential in our ongoing process of transformational redemption.

"Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete."

God values all of us and has purposeful functions for each of us to engage in within His Family. Everyone has a role to play, opportunities to serve God, and opportunities to serve one another.

The servants who employed their minas wisely were rewarded extravagantly. That surely should inspire us to do likewise with whatever we've been given, investing it in doing God's will, accomplishing His work, and all that for His majesty and glory.

The essence of genuine faith is one birthed by God's Word, through the power of His Holy Spirit, resulting in internal transformation that outs itself in love-driven obedience, joy-driven worship, and a voice that can't stop talking about it!
