With Jesus' words there is an implicit summons, a call to action, and that exhortation is, no longer conceal where you stand with your Divine Rescuer. Come out of the shadows and acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord!

The coming of Jesus, God the Son, was the inauguration of God's Kingdom on the earth and we are moving daily towards its full consummation when Christ Jesus returns.

When trials come, when things have seemingly gone awry in our personal lives or the world around us, some errantly conclude God has departed, turned up missing, left us to fend for ourselves. But God is always in charge.
