Could today be the day of your healing from sin? Better yet, could today be the day you meet the Healer, the Forgiver of sins, the One who makes whole, the One who saves, the One who gives life forevermore?

God's Word is never old fashioned or culturally irrelevant. It's always spot on and it often reveals where we're way off. That's not only true now, but also down through the ages...

What are you doing in the name of the Lord that honors Him? Glorifies Him? Are you driven by consumption or production? As a believer are you merely taking in and filling up or are you spilling over, going forth, serving, helping, giving, doing?

Our Lord's steadfast love, His unceasing mercies, and His ever so great faithfulness cannot help but create gratitude in our hearts--especially when we realize they're totally undeserved. When gratitude becomes an epidemic it cannot help but inundate those round about us.

The Apostle Paul once had a religious pedigree that made him a rising star in the Jewish faith. With great zeal he sought to wipe out those claiming faith in Christ. But then he met Jesus. Jesus made him blind so he could see.

Christ has declared us not guilty and has reckoned us righteous. He has forgiven our sins, won us to Himself, adopted us as His own, and bestowed upon us everlasting life! And somehow David saw it coming ten centuries beforehand! Talk about an awesome God! Talk about Love!

Obviously idolatry is alive and well in our day. One TV commercial constantly asks, "What's in your wallet?" The better question is what's in your heart and in whom do you trust?

When a person is baptized, the Gospel is being depicted for everyone to see. It's a personal drama professing one's faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice. It's a one man passion play.

The Commission Jesus gave was not a mere suggestion. Good News as good as this should not be kept a secret. Beautiful feet should indeed take this News everywhere they go...
