Nora wrote the film exploring the winding ups and downs of a long-term relationship, showcased by two couples (Alexandra Daddario, Daveed Diggs, Josh Gad, Ashley Park) who spend a woodsy weekend together. What unfolds forces them to confront their commitments to one another.

Director Clay Tweel brings his documentary Andy Kaufman Is Me to the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival. It's an exploration into the late comedian's legacy as a misunderstood entertainer, and a quest to uncover the “real” Andy who was an enigma at best through early footage, audio recordings, and interviews with his family and the people who knew him. Clay joins Robin Milling to discuss what makes Andy such a fascinating subject and how he relates to him.

Director Lauren Meyering brings her debut film “Horsegirls” to the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival. Co-written with her best friend Mackenzie Breeden, it explores the unique world of hobbyhorsing as a backdrop to an autistic daughter (Lillian Carrier) who must grapple with her mother's (Gretchen Mol) illness while discovering her own independence.

Lauren discusses casting and directing Lillian, who is autistic and riding along with the U.S. hobby horsing committee which gave her invaluable advice.

Documentary director Alison Ellwood takes on the Culture Club in Boy George & Culture Club, premiering at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival. Alison spoke with band members Boy George (George O'Dowd), Roy Hay (guitarist), Mikey Craig (bass), and Jon Moss (drums) for a compelling look back into their emotional and personal perspectives and cultural mania of this English new wave band that defined the New Romantic scene in the early eighties.

Director/writer David Verbeek joins Robin Milling to talk about his film The Wolf, The Fox And The Leopard, premiering Saturday, June 7th at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival. Wild and wondrous, it stars Jessica Reynolds as a feral woman raised by wolves. David discusses how Jessica trained to be wolf-like, interacting with real wolves, devouring a “squirrel,” and how the film asks the questions of what does it mean to be human and the consequences of trying to assimilate back into society.

The wait is finally over for Grayson Hugh's new CD, Save Your Love For Me. A self-described "bluegrass mountain soul artist," Grayson joins me to talk about the inspiration for the songs, which are a little bit country, a little bit rockabilly, and a whole lot of soul.

I'm joined by Kirsten Foe, the writer/director of Off The Record starring Rainey Qualley as an aspiring pop star who is love-bombed by a manipulative manager played by Ryan Hansen. It's a music business casualty we know too well, which Foe experienced first-hand as her son's father worked with Sheryl Crow. Foe, who is also an accomplished stuntwoman (The Affair, Twin Peaks, Grimm), fresh off of stunt driving with Charlie Hunnam, talks about how sharing those stories shaped the film and that we still have a long way to go before women can truly own their power in a male-dominated business.
