Connection.

It's the missing link in business.  

I thought it was just the missing link in Corporate but it's not.  It's the missing link period.

The idea that you can provide education without deeply connecting with your clients is bullshit.

You want to quantum leap? 

Then you need to see that connection and education are 50/50 to provide the transformation your clients are looking for.

Time is something that you can’t get back! It is our most valuable resource on earth, so I’m all about talking about time.

Today we’re going to talk about the difference between investing time and spending time. It’s so similar to investing money or spending money.

When you invest your time, you get a return on that time, just like when you invest money into a 401k or the stock market. The reason you’re investing is because you want a return on that money.

Today, I want to share the way I think about meeting goals early, exceeding your own expectations, and all that I’ve learned about goal planning and being a woman who meets her goals every, single time.

So, buckle up, buttercup, because we’re gonna dive right into this and I’m gonna use myself as an example.

My goal this year was to double my growth, which would make my goal $250,000 in 2021. Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to make $250,000 a year. Anything above that would make me the top earner in my family, ever, for generation upon generation upon generation.

What I wanted to share with you is, it’s early September, and I have exceeded the $250,000 goal.

We don’t always have to know the how, we just have to know it’s possible and then really put massive action into that belief.

Let’s talk about million-dollar intentional thoughts.

We have automatic thoughts all day, every day. I think the stat says we have something like 60,000 thoughts a day; many of them are automatic, they just come in and then go.

Our brain is telling us what to do all day, every day. If we just let our mind, our brains, offer up thoughts and we place the same amount of value on every single one of them, then we would not be able to scale a successful business. So, we don’t just allow thoughts to take up space in our minds.

These automatic thoughts pop into your mind, you might not even know they’re there.

So, what in the world is an intentional thought? An intentional thought is a thought we choose to think. Their thoughts that we want to believe are true.

You are not replaceable.

I remember the first time the CEO announced at a company meeting that "everyone is replaceable," I cringed.  After working 60 hour weeks for months on end, it made me want to quit.

Here's the truth.  It costs companies SO much money to backfill positions, pay recruiters, train new employees and wait for employees to get up to speed just to find out if they will actually be a good fit.  

You are actually not easily replaceable.  Scare tactics don't work on women like us.  We see right through that patriarchal bullshit.

Even though you have left corporate behind, this old thinking can creep into your business if you aren't careful.  Thoughts like, "the market is saturated" or "why would someone want to work with me when they can work with Susie over there" all stems from this idea that you are replaceable.

There's healing that needs to happen here.  In this week's podcast episode, I run you through all the ways you are actually not replaceable at all.
