Lately, it seems nearly every hour we hear about how A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) is affecting our lives. Trying to comprehend what that means to all of us on our day to day lives, and more important, how to protect our children while preparing them to live in a digitally altered world, could be one of the great challenges of all time.

As technology changes and advances, it is sometimes difficult to know what is the truth. We also see widespread scams and extortion targeting our kids and seniors. It is vitally important that we all know how to recognize the dangers and then have honest conversations about those potential dangers with our family members. Equally important, letting them know they can come to us if they get victimized.

No one knows what will come in 2025.  We do know that somewhere between 5 million and 15 million people have entered the U.S. and it is nearly impossible to tell who are the perpetrators and who may become victims of trafficking.  We also know that foreign national gangs have joined forces with US gangs and sadly, nearly 90% of sex trafficking in the U.S is gang controlled.  This makes the victims much more vulnerable to violence and exploitation.
