TVC 613.2: From October 2016: Milt Larsen, founder of The Magic Castle, talks to Ed about his background in television, which includes eighteen years as a writer for Ralph Edwards Productions, where he worked on both This is Your Life and Truth or Consequences and, in the case of the former show, often entertained such entertainment legends as Buster Keaton, Stan Laurel, Ed Wynn, Mack Sennett, George Burns, and Jack Benny while Edwards' production team set up the surprise for those guests. Also in this segment: audio highlights from Milt's final public appearance (courtesy of both the Larsen family and B. Harlan Boll Public Relations), which took place at The Magic Castle in April 2023 at a special gathering that celebrated both the fiftieth anniversary of The Castle and Milt's ninety-second birthday. Milt Larsen passed away this past Sunday, May 28.
