I really enjoyed doing this second edition of Naked News. It just feels like me, talking to you and trying to share some news with you that you probably ought to know. Man, if I don't tell you, who the hell else is going to take the time?

Here the news like you've never heard it before. Naked News is my take on the news of the week, delivered the way I would want to talk to you about. It's raw and makes, devoid of all pretense.

I am trying to make more room for opinion. I still believe in the sanctity of facts, but defer to the power of emotion. I feel more inclined to share how I feel, at least about the facts. I sometimes wish there were more listeners, but I would like to think I’d still be doing what I do, how I feel about what’s going on, and  speaking to our better selves. It’s all we got. Thank you

I haven’t even listened to #68 yet, but I enjoyed recording it, even more than usual. It felt good to be giving voice to so much of what is not spoken about. I know it ain’t much, but it’s my way. Reading Carl Sagan’s Pale Blue Dot at the end was the highlight for me. Thanks for listening.

I do this news podcast, because I feel I have to, not because I think I am any good at it. With that in mind, in my Yemen story, I couldn’t remember the Shia as being in conflict with the Sunni, both Muslims, go figure!
Plenty of good stuff in this one.

A slight Omicron related delay in sharing your news. Fortunately for us, the shit show has held its breath and can finally exhale with one incredible story after another for you to listen to. You got 30 minutes? You got the world. It might not be what you want to hear, but that’s not how the world works. Is it?

This is my first Real News Plus of 2022 and it is my 65th one in total, which ain’t too shabby. Recorded on January 6th, while one year ago, storming the Capitol was THE Real News Plus. 2022 will not be more of the same, it will be an intensified more of everything and staying centered will be the challenge. Give a listen.
