This episode is my women's day speech for a Mumbai college. There is no doubt that progress has been made regarding equality over the last century. But we still have a lot of ground to cover, according to The United Nations and UNESCO-

1. more than two-thirds of the world's illiterate people are women

2. It is estimated that 60% of chronically hungry people are women and around 130 million girls are out of school worldwide.

3. Though we comprise more than 50% of the world's population, sadly, we only own 1% of the world's wealth.

Being in the present moment, or the “here and now,” means that we are aware and mindful of what is happening at this very moment. Where we are not distracted by our past that is already gone or worries of the future that we have no control of. The present moment is the only thing where there is no time. It is the point between past and future.
